We review the job

We confirm details, check truck availability, and prepare pricing.

3

We coordinate the delivery

We line up the truck, confirm the material source, and schedule the drop-off.

4

Your material arrives

The truck delivers the load, and you get your project moving.

Start with the basics

If you have never ordered gravel before, no problem. Here are the main things to know.

One truck usually holds up to 10 cubic yards

A standard dump truck can usually carry up to 10 cubic yards of material per load. Depending on the material, that is often around 12 to 15 tons.

Some heavier materials may reduce how much fits safely on one truck.

Material is priced separately

The material itself has its own price, and that price can vary depending on the type of gravel, pit location, and market conditions.

Truck time is billed by the hour

The truck rate is currently $140 per hour, with a 1-hour minimum per delivery.

Extra time is billed only if needed

If the delivery takes longer than 1 hour, additional truck time is billed at the same hourly rate.

Simple way to think about pricing

Your total price usually includes material cost, truck delivery time, and a small GravelGo service fee.

Example

If your delivery takes 1 hour, truck cost is $140.

If it takes 1.5 hours, truck cost is $210.

Material cost is added separately based on what you order.

Final pricing depends on material type, distance, truck availability, and job details.
